ACM/Curtain Wall CNC Machine with 13 Vises
With a 102″ X 288″ X 18″ cutting area and four hold-down zones
CNT-1000 Series ACM/Curtain Wall CNC Machine with 13 Vises
Featuring a 102″ X 288″ X 18″ cutting area and four hold-down zones for machining ACM, aluminum extrusions and small parts.
This ACM/Curtain Wall 3-Axis, CNT-1000 Series CNC was built to machine Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) up to a size of 80″ wide X 288″ long and provide a second zone 18″ wide X 288″ long with vises to machine light- to heavy-wall aluminum extrusions for pre-engineered commercial building exterior wall coverings, known as curtain walls. The ACM area has four (4) 80″ X 72″ vacuum hold-down zones that can be turned on/off by macro control to concentrate the vacuum on individual zones or all zones to maximize hold-down of various size sheets. The entire perimeter of the 80″ X 288″ ACM zone has 24 air-actuated pop-up pin material stops: 3 along the front 80″ face, 3 along the rear 80″ face, 9 along the left 288″ face, and 9 along the right 288″ face. These vacuum zones are connected to two (2) 25-HP FPZ regenerative vacuum blowers each creating up to 13.2 Inches HG at 380 CFM of flow. It has 13 Kurt DX6 Vises mounted on 25mm linear guideways to allow adjustable support and movement along the length of the machine. They each have 4 aluminum soft jaws allowing 0″-9″ camping rang on center jaws and 8.8″-17.5″ on outside jaws. Air clamps hold the vises in place once moved to your desired position, and are activated by a switch conveniently located below the vise screw handle engagement. One pop-up-stop is located at the front of the table to allow any length of material up to 288″ long.

NEEDED TO OPERATE THIS MACHINE
- 208/230V three-phase power (60 Amp Service)
- An isolated ground rod will need to be driven into the ground to connect the #12 ground wire from the computer control cabinet. This ground rod must not be a shared ground, building ground, water pipe ground, or any other ground. Your electrician will need to run the 60 Amp 208/230V three-phase service line to the disconnect located on the side of the control cabinet enclosure.
- Provide 5-9 CFM at 95-105 PSI, refrigerated clean, dry air to the machine.
